One of the most beautiful destinations in Indonesia is Borobudur Temple. Borobudur Temple is a tourist destination located in Magelang Regency, Central Java, Indonesia. After going through various periods of government, finally Borobudur Temple was completed during the reign of King Samaratungga. Inside the Borobudur Temple, we can see there are many reliefs and stupas that are perched beautifully, and each of these reliefs and stupas tells the meaning of life. Of which, there are 504 Buddha statues, 72 overlay stupas, and 1 main stupa. In addition, Borobudur Temple has a very wide temple footprint, its size is 123 x 123 meters, and the height of Borobudur temple is 35.40 meters. The artistic value of each Borobudur Temple sculpture is of high value. Hence, Borobudur Temple is designated as a world heritage site by UNESCO.

 

There are many ways when we want to go to Borobudur Temple. We can use car, motorbike, taxi, and bus. If you want to go by taxi from Yogyakarta to Borobudur, then the required cost is around Rp. 200,000. In addition, you can use public transportation such as buses or mini buses from Yogyakarta bus terminal to Borobudur which usually costs Rp. 12,000. Borobudur Temple is a tourist spot that is easy to visit and the price is affordable. Therefore, Borobudur Temple is a beautiful and best tourist destination to be visited by tourists or foreign tourists.
